What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant for Construction Company position at Palatial Concrete?
Administrative assistant needed for busy construction office in Keyport, NJ. Duties include collecting tickets from the jobsites, handling new hire paperwork and time keys, ordering office supplies, handing out paychecks, filing, data entry, printing/scanning, preparing weekly Fedex package to be sent to NY office, liaison between the NJ office and the NY office, and other various office duties. Some travel required to Jersey City, NJ and Farmingdale, NJ. Responsibilities will grow as you learn. Must have 1-2 years office experience, preferably in a construction setting, & computer experience; must have knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook. Must be organized, self-starter, able to work with little to no supervision, work well with others & have a pleasant attitude. It is a great company to work for, for the right person. Bi-Lingual a plus!!! Hours will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm.
