Palker Law Firm is searching for an entry-level field representative to assist in a variety of day-to-day tasks at our law firm.
This position is open specifically to persons who are interested in pursuing a career in the legal field and is tailored to provide such persons with the tools and resources necessary to advance their legal administrative skills and propel them into more advanced roles within the firm.
This role may require oft-regular out-of-office duties such as meeting with clients or completing out-of-office tasks as needed.

The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the client intake process including new client sign-up and follow-up, fact-finding, and document gathering.
- Providing case updates for pre-litigation clients.
- General administrative and litigation tasks as needed throughout the law firm.
- Answer inbound calls and emails from potential clients, providing a welcoming and professional first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation. Meet with clients or potential clients in the field, gathering necessary documents, information, or signatures for legal cases.
- Collect, deliver, and manage legal documents for the firm’s legal team.
- Conduct research in the field by interviewing witnesses, gathering evidence, or following up on leads, assisting attorneys in building case files.
- Travel between multiple locations within the service area to meet clients or deliver/collect materials.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with attorneys and staff about progress, document status, and challenges encountered.
- Provide general administrative assistance to the legal team, including data entry, filing, and organizing case files.
- Keep accurate records of activities, visits, and document delivery as necessary.
- Collect detailed information about potential clients' legal matters, including their background, issues at hand, and any documentation related to their case.
- Accurately input and maintain client data into the firm’s case management system, ensuring all information is up to date and correctly recorded.
- Keep potential clients informed about the status of their case evaluation, and if needed, notify them of any next steps or required follow-up.
- Conduct initial case assessments to determine the viability of cases, referring complex cases or those outside the firm’s scope to appropriate attorneys or departments.
- Ensure that all intake forms and documents are completed and signed before passing them along to the legal team for further review.
- Provide general administrative support to clients, offering guidance and assistance throughout the intake process.
- Assist with collection of payments and maintain record of them.
