PROJECT COORDINATOR I

This position requires strong writing and computer skills, working as a team player, and knowledge of basic engineering practices. Assists the Division with a multitude of disciplines including preparation of permits and reports, safety inspections, class instruction, maintenance of databases, teaching pretreatment and backflow prevention programs, and performing training.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Equivalencies: Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering field and one (1) year of professional experience in engineering, surveying, construction management, drafting and/or other related engineering field OR related Associate's/unrelated Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related experience OR graduation from high school or equivalent recognized certification and four (4) years of related experience.

PREFERENCE FOR: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Biological Sciences with coursework in water and/or wastewater engineering or equivalent; experience with water and/or wastewater treatment plant permit applications/renewals/approvals; experience working for/on behalf of a governmental entity and/or regulatory agency.
