Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center is currently hiring an experience medical billing professional.
Palm Shores Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 11–17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. We are a proud provider of the Patriot Support Program. We are located in Manatee County. Position Summary
This position performs, on a daily basis, the follow-up and collection efforts necessary to relieve patient accounts for a collectible status. Works with Admissions and Utilization Review in the areas of insurance verification and insurance benefits. Takes an active role in attaining and maintaining AR days. Additional duties to be discussed during interview process.
This is a full-time, benefit eligible, 40 hours per week position. Monday -Friday 8 am -4:30 pm

Qualifications
Education: High School diploma/GED is required. Associates Degree or approved equivalent combination of coursework and related experience or extensive related experience is required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous Experience: Experience (3 years minimum) working in a healthcare (professional) billing, health insurance or equivalent operations work environment.
