What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Country Club Expeditor / Food Runner position at Palmira Golf Club?
We are currently searching for a charismatic, professional and experienced Country Club Expeditor and Food Runner to join our Food and Beverage team. This is not an entry level position. The expeditors and food runners are the heartbeat of our operation.
The Palmira Community in Bonita Springs is home to the prestigious Palmira Golf Club – a member-owned and financially sound private club featuring a 27-hole championship golf course. The Palmira Grande Clubhouse offers 41,000 sq. ft. of elegance and wonderful amenities. There are a multitude of social, golf, and club events facilitated by two dining rooms and kitchens. Our Grill Room seats 120 people inside and is complimented with a covered patio and outdoor seating. Our banquet room seats roughly 200. An array of different events and menus allows our staff to be creative and enjoy many different styles of service and venues.
The team member will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and assisting with the overall Food and Beverage operation, while always representing Palmira with the utmost professionalism.

Job Duties Include:
- Coordination of tickets and entrees
- High level of communication with front of house and culinary teams
- Setting and clearing tables
- Learning current menus through season
- Arranging tables, chairs, banquet tables, and chafers for banquet events and building buffets
- Cleanliness and maintenance of banquet equipment
- Running of food items and plateware for events
- Support team members and carry food trays
- Provide quality products, excellent service, and a friendly atmosphere for all members
- Deliver dirty table settings to dish-washing area
- Rack all dirty glasses in designated dish-washing area
- Oversee cleanliness of restaurant
- Maintain proper sanitation, safety procedures and cleanliness in work areas.
- Make sure stations are clean, area is mopped, and all garbage bags emptied before end of shift
- Ensure adequate prep items and supplies are ready for service
- Follows set-up and closing procedures

- Country Club experience required!

- Physical activities required daily will consist of standing and walking for long periods of time. Must be able to lift 30-40 pounds. Must be able to work long hours in season.
