We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing high-quality grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering exceptional grooming experiences for our clients. Your expertise in pet care will help maintain the comfort and happiness of our furry clients.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming for various breeds of dogs and other pets.
• Utilize appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both pets and staff during grooming sessions.
• Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to recommend appropriate grooming treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, including equipment sterilization.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs and grooming options.
• Handle animals with care, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Assist in kennel duties as needed, including feeding, exercising, and monitoring pets in our care.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive environment for both pets and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pet grooming is REQUIRED 1 year minimum professional experience.
• Strong skills in animal handling and dog training techniques are highly desirable.
• Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safe handling during grooming sessions.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or moving equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners and address their concerns effectively.
• Knowledge of basic veterinary care is a plus but not mandatory.
• A genuine passion for animals and commitment to their well-being is essential.
