Description:
Our Aerial Park Guides ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests navigating our high ropes courses, and other elevated obstacles. They provide clear instructions, monitor activities, and offer encouragement to create a fun and adventurous experience for all participants.
Essential Functions:
Guide guests through the Aerial Park course.
Be able to efficiently and correctly gear up guests.
Accurately inspect, record, and maintain safety equipment.
Maintain a high level of attention and focus throughout the day to effectively manage guest safety.
Keep guests comfortable and engaged during their visit.
Utilize clear and professional communications to ensure smooth operations.
Utilize best practices and manage risk for both staff and guests.
Assist in transporting guests and supplies to and from the course as needed.
Maintain rescue skills and be able to maintain proficiency under adverse or stressful conditions.
Maintain a friendly and professional attitude at work.
Focus on professional, respectful, and engaging coaching techniques.
Understand the forces, loads, and overall physics of a high ropes course and its operations.
Allow guests a challenge by choice experience.
Required to work in a fast-paced, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Experience/Requirements:
Prior experience with outdoor recreation, athletics, educational roles, high ropes instructor experience, or ziplining is a plus but not required.
Candidates must have the physical capability to perform technical rescues and assist guests of various sizes throughout the course.
This is an outdoor position, and you will be expected to be outside daily.
