Patient Services Representative
The patient Services Representative is responsible for an array of activities related to patient communication, intake, and care. Answering majority if not all incoming phone calls, distributions of all incoming faxes, filing in patients' electronic medical records, returning calls to patients per provider or MA. Will be working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional multitasking and computer abilities. Must understand the importance of a positive, courteous and a professional attitude in the workplace. Great attention to detail and clear communication with patients are essential.
General Summary: To be successful as a patient representative you must be able to facilitate and coordinate communication between patients, family members, and the clinical staff. Demonstrate Paragon’s core values in all interactions with your co-workers, patients, and all patrons. Position work week is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Patient Services Representative Responsibilities:
· Answering, investigating, and /or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate person
In the practice.
-Covering Back MA position, and all position when people are out sick/Vacation. Cross Trainied to do multiple positions in office.
· Following up with patients to ensure their inquiry, concern, or issues has been satisfactorily resolved.
· Perform administrative and clerical duties per management.
· Fax distribution all day as faxes received.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Knowledge of medical terms and practices.
· Back up for other non-clinical positions when out or need assistance per manager.
· Must exercise utmost diplomacy and tact to provide excellent customer service for patients. Practices confidentiality and privacy protocols in accordance with clinic policies and procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
Uses Customer service principles and techniques to deal with patients calmly and pleasantly.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
