Quality Lab Technician oversee testing to ensure that products meet the established standards of appearance or performance. Conducting hourly inspections on parts to ensure that the product is maintaining conformity, and performing dock audits to prevent non-conforming products from getting to the customer.

Summary:
Quality Lab Technician oversee testing to ensure that products meet the established standards of appearance or performance. Conducting hourly inspections on parts to ensure that the product is maintaining conformity, and performing dock audits to prevent non-conforming products from getting to the customer.
Duties include:
- Responsible for testing, sampling, measuring, and weighing products at one or more points in the production process to ensure consistency and quality.
- Conduct visual inspections and tests, verify counts and document results, and calculate the percentages of defective product based on your inspection results.
- Capping, packaging and labeling products, and sorting for shipping may also be among your responsibilities.
- Ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Ensuring drugs meet quality standards
- Examining chemical composition to ensure there is no contamination or variation.
- Evaluates the safety and quality of pharmaceutical products and manufacturing processes.
- Conduct daily in-process quality control (QC) inspections at production lines.
- Document and report sampling conditions, testing activities and results.
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience, preferred in pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel
- Knowledge on (GLP)s (SOP)s and (GMP)s
- Good understanding of food safety standards and FDA Regulations
- Ability to lift 35 lbs. on occasion or frequently.
