Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide guidance and support to children in their daily routines, encouraging positive behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive team atmosphere.
- Document children's progress and maintain records as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Child Care Center Director or in a leadership role within child care.
- Child Development Certificate Preferred
- Child Education Specialist's Certificate/Diploma Preferred
- Child Development Associate's Certificate/Certificate Preferred
- Child Care Certified (Preferred)
- Experience working with children in an daycare/educational setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to children's developmental stages.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate families' schedules.
