Position Reports To: Sales Operations Manager
Job Purpose Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working collaboratively and cohesively as a team with the sales staff, supply and distribution teams to provide excellent customer care. Supports accounts by processing order and resolving issues in a timely and pleasant manner.
Specific Responsibilities of the Position:
- Assist with incoming customer calls
- Process incoming orders, sample requests, paperwork requests, rebate information, pricing, etc.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports/credits.
- Provides analysis of ordering patterns to identify opportunities and risks.

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required, Associate’s degree or Bachelors degree desired
- Required years of experience: 2 or more years office sales or analytics
- Preferred experience: 2 or more years food manufacturing environment
- ERP and or CRM experience is a plus
Physical Demands:
Prolonged sitting and standing as needed. Rarely need to lift up to 30 pounds; able to bend, reach, stoop, swat, and stand occasionally. Must have the ability to handle multiple priorities at a time.
Work Environment:
- General office environment.
- On-site job located in Trappe, MD
- Hybrid/Remote potential within commuting distance after initial training period.
GMP Requirements:
Follows all provisions of Paris Foods GMP, Food Safety and Food Defense procedures and processes. Takes ownership of their role in the company’s GMP, Food Safety and Food Defense Programs by identifying and elevating any observations in violation of the policies.
