**Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance professional to join our team. Working in a fast paced, team environment, under minimal supervision, Responsible for overall general building maintenance of 78,000 square foot manufacturing facility and grounds. This position requires the incumbent to be the on-site maintenance coordinator. Duties include prioritizing and accomplishing work, monitoring conditions and securing contractors as needed to resolve a variety of maintenance and equipment problems.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Maintains general up keep and repair of facility, machines and equipment.
  • Fabrication and modification of fixtures and workstations as needed.
  • Plans and coordinates the repair and installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry work for short-range projects.
  • Responsible for the management of the Hazardous Waste System. Maintains all records, communication and documentation.
  • Heating Systems: Repairs, replaces or works with outside vendor. Repair resistance heat systems and sequencers.
  • Mechanical Systems: Cleaning of mechanical spaces, changes or cleans filters, lubricates moving parts, replaces parts, adjusts or replaces valve packing, identify and correct mechanical noise. Replace shafts and shaft bearings, fans and fan bearings, motors and motor bearings.
  • Plumbing Systems: Replace sink faucets, repair faucet leaks, replace aerators and vacuum breakers. Repairs, replaces and services toilet and urinal flush meters. Clears minor sink drain clogs. Clears blocked toilets and urinals; capable of properly using a closet auger. Performs minor water line connection repairs such as solder joints, compression joints, screwed fittings, etc.
  • Electrical Systems: Replace lamps, ballasts, switches and receptacles. Check and/or replace fuses, breakers, relays, contactors, transformers and motor starters. Replace and wire motors.
  • In house expert in and understand sequence of operation for Air handling Units, Exhaust Fans and other building equipment and systems.
  • Assists where needed in general housekeeping of the facility.
  • Responsible for assigned work projects to ensure projects are completed by on time and on budget.
  • Basic knowledge of Park Manufacturing’s products and processes
  • Involved with training team members proper periodic maintenance on equipment.
  • Logs and maintains records of Preventive Maintenance information.
  • Operates and maintains lift, forklift, and material handling equipment.
  • Performs major overhaul maintenance of equipment.
  • Orders parts and consumable supplies.
  • With OSHA knowledge, maintains lock out tags.
  • Responds to off-hour/weekend/holiday emergency pages/phone call-ins for assigned areas.

**Qualifications:**

  • At least 5 years working in a Maintenance Technician role
  • Strong mechanical skills
  • HVAC Experience
  • OSHA Knowledge
  • Forklift certification
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical information and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with scissor lifts and other aerial devices.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $27.92 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
