The Project Manager is responsible for managing project operations for personnel, customer service, and branch profitability. This position requires you to be proficient in performing complex tasks of landscape construction that include a wide range of responsibilities and skills that will allow them to effectively lead a team that will ensure customer satisfaction and job profitability.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage all daily administrative operations and progress for each job awarded to the branch, from the award of the job to job closeout
- Responsible for change management, and subcontract management, and is the primary liaison between the owner and/or client for each project
- Oversees Project Engineer assigned to each project to ensure proper management of job responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge and compliance of all contract requirements for change, scope, inclusions, exclusions, and schedule for each project • Prepare and present sale of change to customers
- Facilitate delegation of responsibilities to the Project Engineer and Administration teams for each job
- Oversee submittals, RFIs, closeouts, T&M tickets and all other job requirements as needed • Coordinate all administrative needs for subcontractors for each job
- Execution and management for all plan change proposals and time and material work to owner and customer
- Monitor the project submittal process to ensure the timeliness of all necessary materials and equipment
Qualifications/Skills
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the commercial landscape construction industry or related field
- Proficient in reading and understanding landscape trade plans and digital takeoff software
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of landscape irrigation installation and plant identification
- General speaking and understanding of Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
