Responsible for the coordination of the production schedule, ordering raw materials and packaging supplies, non-customer shipping arrangements, internal mold tracking and monitor finished goods inventory levels/requirements.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Maintaining daily, weekly and monthly production schedule
- Maintain customer forecasting within company ERP system
- Ordering of all raw materials (resin, preforms, corrugation, pallets, colorants, bags, tape, etc.)
- Maintain internal mold tracking system (if applicable)
- Review daily production reports for accuracy
- Review daily production work orders for production information and requirements
- Ensure in-bound audit procedures on all raw materials are in place and operational
- Work closely with warehouse supervisor on raw material audits and inventories
- Assists with trucking arrangements for molds and inter-company shipments (if applicable)
- Assist management with the coordination/selling of all scrap corrugation and scrap resin within the system
- Work directly with customer service on all sample requests
- Assists with Customer Service duties, in the order entry process
- Assists Customer Service in the handling of internal Customer requests, orders, etc
- Other Admin. / Customer Service duties as assigned
- Requires a minimum of a high-school diploma or equivalent
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of ERP systems
