Job Summary: As a Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist, you will manage the recruitment process for hourly roles while also contributing to talent management initiatives, including talent review, succession planning, and employee engagement. You will design and facilitate impactful training programs to ensure that our employees are well-prepared and continuously developed. Additionally, you will support key efforts to ensure we have a strong pipeline of future leaders and an engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Lead the recruitment process for hourly roles, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and making hiring decisions.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers and department leads to understand job requirements and ensure alignment with recruitment strategies.
- Utilize creative and cost-effective sourcing methods, including social media, job boards, employee referrals, and local partnerships to find qualified hourly candidates.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their fit for the role and company culture.
- Guide candidates through the onboarding process to ensure a positive experience and smooth transition into the organization.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates and talent pools for ongoing and future hiring needs.
Employee Development & Training:
- Assist in the design, development, and delivery of onboarding and ongoing training programs.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, focusing on topics like company culture, employee engagement, performance, and manager development.
- Work closely with HR and leadership teams to identify training needs and create tailored solutions that enhance employee performance and growth.
- Monitor training effectiveness and gather feedback to improve training materials and delivery methods.
- Support career progression initiatives and career pathing, helping associates reach their full potential within the company.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with hiring managers to continuously evaluate recruitment strategies and improve hiring processes.
- Collaborate with HR and learning and development to ensure a seamless integration of recruitment and employee development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations during recruitment, onboarding, and training processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of recruiting experience, with a focus on hourly or front-line positions.
- Experience in instructional design and facilitation of training programs, with a solid understanding of adult learning principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage candidates and employees at all levels.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and flex your focus as needs change.
- Knowledge of training needs assessments, curriculum development, and training evaluation methods is a plus.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
