Parktree Community Health Center provides comprehensive and integrative medical, dental, and behavioral health services to the local community in the Pomona and Ontario areas.
We are looking for an energetic and professional QI Specialist to join our team.
Responsibilities include:
- Assists with the preparation and coordination of Quality Improvement Committees and workgroups.
- Records and develops meeting minutes and prepares supporting documents for Quality Improvement Committees.
- Facilitates monthly Quality Team (QT) meetings.
- Assists with the development, implementation and evaluation of improvement strategies.
- Assists with training and in-service activities related to the Quality Improvement Program.
- Supports the coordination of the Quality Improvement efforts for various health centers, departments, programs, and committees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of AA Degree, BA preferred.
- Experience in quality improvement activities or health education programs.
- Must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess math skills sufficient to prepare spreadsheets, run charts, and analyze data required.
- Experience working with Quality Improvement Methodologies (Model for Improvement, Lean, and Six Sigma etc.) preferred.
- Medical terminology experience preferred.
- Must possess strong Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word etc.), electronic health record systems, and database systems.
