Primary Job Responsibilities
Parlor Games is a vibrant, active, e-commerce company supporting women's hormone health with a top quality line of hormone products. We are 4 years old and growing quickly, our products get excellent reviews and our work truly changes women's lives after menopause in a positive way. We are looking for our next awesome customer service team member to help our customers with many questions about hormones and menopause.
Customer Service acts as a primary point of contact with customers for questions related to ordering and use of Parlor Games’ products. Support is provided primarily through company provided software and social media platforms. This position is HEAVY on tech and you must be able to sit/stand at your desk for your shift. Specific duties include:
- Access Hubspot to read, research, and answer questions related to ordering, shipping, delivery, and use of Parlor Games products.
- Update credit cards and customer details in Ultracart and Hubspot as needed.
- Provide very basic tech support to customers struggling to order or access their account.
- Respond to Customer Service phone calls, Texts, Live Chats, Facebook Messages
- Maintain the customer services responses databases and draft new email templates as needed
- Admit Customers into the Facebook Group and respond to FB comments
- Suggest topics for content development
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
- BA in Business Administration, English, Education, or Biology/Chemistry - this is ideal because we talk about science a lot - and we educate our customers a lot.
- At least seven years in customer service in an office environment, not retail.
- Must be able to pass a software use test as all the job involves computer work.
- At least five years’ experience using a range of software including Microsoft office, cloud-based software e.g. Slack, CRMs, very comfortable on a computer is required.
- Business writing skills.
- English Language Fluency required, Spanish fluency would be Brilliant!
- A demonstrably active healthy lifestyle and knowledge of biology, nutrition, health

So here is the best bit: work life balance is important so 30 hours a week is Full Time. After a successful introductory 90 days, employees are paid as if they were working 40 hours - but still only work 30 hours a week. Yes, you read that right - you earn a full 40 hour a week paycheck and only work 30 hours.

Hours:
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 7.5 hours a day, approximately 9 a.m. to 5pm with half an hour for lunch. ( Sunday is a work remote day if preferred, must have quiet space at home where you will not be interrupted).
