Position Overview
The Insurance Specialist will collaborate with financial planners, advisors, and clients to develop, implement, and monitor tailored insurance solutions. This role is pivotal in advancing our financial planning services, requiring expertise in Medicare, life/disability insurance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct insurance gap analyses and recommend customized coverage solutions.
- Advise clients on Medicare planning, life/disability insurance, and annuity products.
- Partner with wealth management teams to deliver integrated financial plans.
- Identify opportunities to expand Medicare clientele while nurturing existing relationships.
- Stay current on insurance products, Medicare regulations, and industry trends.
- Host client workshops and networking events to educate and engage the community.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain meticulous records.

- Licenses: Health & Life Insurance, Medicare, and [state] Access Health certifications.
- Technical Skills:

- Familiarity with annuity e-apps (e.g., Firelight) and financial planning tools.
- Communication: Ability to simplify complex concepts for clients.
- Analytical Skills: Strong data interpretation and recommendation development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Experience with Canva/PowerPoint for client presentations.
- Knowledge of estate planning or tax strategies.
