Position Summary :
Due to rapid growth in our work with PG&E, we are seeking a Document Quality Control Specialist to support our electric construction projects by ensuring proper documentation of all work and resolving any go-backs promptly. The role reports to the Program Manager and works closely with both the Project Management and Field Operations teams to maintain high standards of quality documentation.
Job Responsibilities :
Review As-Built Documentation : Accurately and effectively review as-built documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Documentation Sorting & Correction : Correct, combine, and sort all necessary documentation for submission to the customer.
Go-Back Management : Communicate and dispatch go-backs to the Field Operations team to resolve documentation discrepancies.
Deadline & Standard Compliance : Ensure adherence to internal and external deadlines, documentation standards, and project requirements.
Data Tracking & Reporting : Track closeout and quality data in the company's work management systems and send out weekly quality metrics to stakeholders.
Documentation Standards Development : Create, understand, and improve documentation standards to enhance process efficiency.
Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with the team to identify and eliminate quality roadblocks, leading to better metrics and overall workflow improvements.
Support Teams : Provide assistance to Project Management and Field Operations teams with closeout documentation and quality control needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements :
Strong data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively to use time efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Prior experience in a similar role or construction-related duties is a
Proven track record of continuous process improvement in a documentation or quality control capacity.
