Job Title : Hybrid Document Quality Control Specialist

Location : Bay Area, CA 94080

  • Hybrid / Remote to local applicants only

Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000K (Temp to Hire, M-F)

Position Summary :

Due to rapid growth in our work with PG&E, we are seeking a Document Quality Control Specialist to support our electric construction projects by ensuring proper documentation of all work and resolving any go-backs promptly. The role reports to the Program Manager and works closely with both the Project Management and Field Operations teams to maintain high standards of quality documentation.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Review As-Built Documentation : Accurately and effectively review as-built documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Documentation Sorting & Correction : Correct, combine, and sort all necessary documentation for submission to the customer.
  • Go-Back Management : Communicate and dispatch go-backs to the Field Operations team to resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Deadline & Standard Compliance : Ensure adherence to internal and external deadlines, documentation standards, and project requirements.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting : Track closeout and quality data in the company's work management systems and send out weekly quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Documentation Standards Development : Create, understand, and improve documentation standards to enhance process efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement : Collaborate with the team to identify and eliminate quality roadblocks, leading to better metrics and overall workflow improvements.
  • Support Teams : Provide assistance to Project Management and Field Operations teams with closeout documentation and quality control needs.
  • Qualifications :

    Minimum Requirements :

  • Strong data entry skills with speed and accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities effectively to use time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a similar role or construction-related duties is a
