Job Description

The Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to F&B Management including the Director of Food and Beverage, Restaurant General Manager, Director of Restaurant Operations, Executive Chef as well as all Managers.

  • Provides excellent internal guest service.
  • Works closely with all departments such as HR, Training, and Payroll to ensure that the F and B departmental reviews, payroll, and approvals are completed in a timely fashion as well as documenting any attendance points for absences or lateness. Types up Coaching Documents and tracks paperwork flow between departments.
  • Assists management in submitting all necessary paperwork and communicates any changes or concerns with timely documentation.
  • Assists with departmental scheduling.
  • Answers phones, makes copies, faxes information, files, and scans documents.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality with the information that is shared within the department.
  • Keeps F and B Team Members informed on events, promotions, etc.
  • Coordinates interview times for all applicants sent for review and communicates the outcome of each applicant sent.
  • Processes new hire PAFs, communicates transfer information to the Director of HR, and completes terminations through the portal.
  • Coordinates with the training department to ensure all F and B personnel are in compliance with mandated training items.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Three (3) or more years' Administrative experience with some Food and Beverage experience a plus.
  • Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in and help others as directed.
  • Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting many different tools and pieces of equipment of varying weights during a full eight (8) hour shift.
  • Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicated in spoken English.
  • Type 45 wpm (words per minute) or faster.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
