JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the Service Desk Manager with the daily supervision and training of Service Desk personnel. Provides input for policy/procedures, problem trends, and process improvement. Assists with maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly statistics/status reports and graphical reporting aides. Provide advanced technical support to agency personnel through service desk telephone and/or remote assistance on the computer. Supervise the installs, removals and configurations on computers, tablets, Smartphone’s, scanners, copiers, and printers. Maintains and updates device images as necessary and oversees patch management/UAT efforts. Ensures accurate records for inventory and repair/maintenance work performed within the agency. EOE/ADA
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
AA/AS and two years of experience in related field required. A High School diploma and a minimum of four years of relevant IT experience maybe considered in lieu of degree. IT Tech Certification, or certifications at manager’s discretion based on agency need must be obtained within twelve months of hire or appointment. Valid Florida Driver's License is required at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
The physical abilities listed below are estimates of time spent during a typical workday to perform essential functions and responsibilities. Members in this position may be required to:
- Sit up to 7 hours per day
- Stand up to 1 hour per day
- Walk up to 1 hour per day
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Occasionally bend, squat, reach, kneel or twist
Other Requirements:
- 20/40 vision (corrected/uncorrected)
- Ability to hear conversation at a normal level (assisted or unassisted)
- Ability to work shift work
- Ability to work in hazardous conditions
