Job Description: Treatment Coordinator
The Treatment Coordinator (TC) is responsible for evaluating dental insurance information, creating treatment plans, working with patients to accept treatment, and helping patients make financial arrangements. The TC reports directly to the Office Manager.
Treatment Coordinator Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
· Retrieve insurance information for various dental insurance plans and evaluate benefits.
· Properly follow established systems/ matrices for coordinating patient care.
· Organize proposed treatment into cohesive and detailed plan.
· Present the costs of the proposed treatment to patients.
· Work with patients to accept treatment and assist in making financial arrangements.
· Collect patient fees and co-payments when applicable.
· Revise and submit claims to insurance companies.
· Follow up on unpaid claims.
· Review and correct rejected claims.
· Submit pre-treatment services with proper documentation.
· Follow up with pre-treatment determinations and prior authorizations.
· Contact patients to follow up on proposed treatments.
· Assist administrative staff when necessary.
· Maintain a neat and clean workspace.
· Support and promote teamwork.
· Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Treatment Coordinator Qualifications:

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
