Schedule
Hours will vary with demand, however, 12 hours a week will be guaranteed and is the expected floor/minimum while the initial ceiling would be 24 total hours/week for that is budgeted for this position.

Potentially, the total hours could be expanded over time with successful performance.

Patience In Home Care (PIHC) provides Private Duty Nursing, Skilled Nursing Visits, PCA Services, Homemaking, and Companion Care services. PIHC is headquartered in Andover (on Bunker Lake Blvd and bordering Coon Rapids) and its targets service to Anoka County and surrounding area (including northern Hennepin).

Client Intake Coordinator - Position
The company has seen rapid growth in PCA services over the last year and is now excited to introduce a new and unique opportunity with this Part-Time Client Intake Coordinator position. This position will be primarily focused on calling leads, scheduling home visits and making home visits to perform intakes for private pay, clients in scalable and potentially foundational position and role with the company.
In this role you will be the lead for engaging new clients by making call-backs, text, email follow ups, and in-home visits. You will be primarily preparing and conducting intakes along with helping support various office support (other client visits, helping support the office on tasks related to staffing new clients or also recruiting staff and clients).

The role will call for a limited number of flexibly scheduled hours that are set to primarily work on contacting clients; this part of the job can be done from home (provided you have a quiet and conducive work area from your home that also provides adequate privacy this can be done from home). Ideally this is done somewhat spread out through the week so new customers hear back from us quickly. During these hours, our agency expects to be able to connect to have dialogue and go over things together.

Other hours you will schedule directly with clients for home visits or with our office for office visits to complete your minimum hours each week (12) and can expand up to maximum hours each week (24) if you have more client visits and calls to make or office work we agree to extend.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Friendly face that welcomes and integrates families with home services.
  • Contacting leads needing day-to-day assistance in their home to build relationships while learning their needs and providing them answers and education.
  • Interface with clients to complete intakes and complete service evaluations.
  • Assisting with client intake processes and new client referrals through also working with case managers and clients to gather and understand client needs and help support fulfillment.
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry/state rules and support ensuring PIHC meets its obligations (i.e. ruling statutes, company policy & client agreements).

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Supporting hiring activities (setting up job postings, recruiting, setting up interviews and supporting the interview and employee selection process, coordination of onboarding activities).
  • At agreed times and to agreed extent providing office support:
    • Filling in to answer calls/emails/texts to support business partners, employees, and prospective clients.
    • Supporting maintenance of team schedules and company calendar.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Home Health care industry experience.
  • Experience in consumer sales / customer support.
  • Licensure (LPN, RN) or Social Work experience
  • Open to supporting and being face for our agency that people know you and us by (wearing badge, sharing bio on website).

Requirements:
  • Team player, Team player, Team player, Team player! with a positive attitude and effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility – able to work various times /days to help make sure that our clients can find a time too where meetings can be had.
  • Must be fluent in the English language.
  • Experienced with using a computer
  • Must have reliable transporation for all MN seasons.
  • Interested in doing and learning new things and able to adapt to change.
  • Having proper US Work authorization
  • Continuously looking to improve and always constructive!

Salary Range:
$22 - $34/ per hour (starting pay is influenced by experience, certifications/licensing, demonstration of ability, and flexibility. Starting pay will be a factor in our selection of the best candidate for our team).

Hours will vary with demand, however, 12 hours a week will be guaranteed and the initial ceiling of 24 total hours/week for that is budgeted for this position. Potentially, the total hours could be expanded over time with successful performance and a candidate interested in more hours or FT position.
