What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Receptionist position at PATTERSON HONDA?
The Front Desk Receptionist is a Director of First Impressions. The first impression is the most important whether it is in person or over the phone. You will be responsible for ensuring a positive guest experience at the first point of contact and for directing customers and vendors to the appropriate dealership representative or resource.
- Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately
- Operate a multi-line phone including answering all incoming calls in a prompt, polite, professional manner, transfer calls to the appropriate person or department quickly, or operating the dealership paging system, calls to individuals to the phone.
- Performs a variety of secretarial duties in support of the administrative activities, operations, and staff.
- Perform typing, mailing, faxing various correspondence or materials assigned.
- Take detailed messages when call cannot be completed; including caller’s name, telephone number, time of call, and information requested, and delivers to appropriate party in a timely manner.
- Develop knowledge of basic dealership information in order to respond to callers who have general inquires
- Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Patterson Honda brand.
