Billing Analyst ULT

Brief Description:
The Billing Analyst is responsible for accurately processing and managing billing transactions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient billing practices, resolving customer inquiries, and supporting internal teams with billing-related tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Detailed Description:

• Generate and process accurate and timely customer invoices.
• Verify billing details for completeness and accuracy before submission.
• Process invoices through the billing software and financial systems, ensuring proper approvals have been obtained.
• Maintain and update customer billing accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and distribute regular reports on billing activities.
• Ensure supporting documentation aligns with company policies and invoicing guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary billing information and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Assist with testing and updating the billing software to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Support continuous process improvement initiatives related to billing operations.

• Ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with billing software.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of experience in an administrative role serving multiple level personnel, or similar experience.

The Billing Analyst requires the ability to work in a time sensitive, high visibility role while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when adversity is encountered. Work is primarily in a climate controlled / office environment with minimal safety / health hazard potential. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, or walk with occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending and frequent near vision use for reading and use of computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
