Patti's Settlement Ice Cream Parlor

We are looking for a friendly and energetic individual to join our team at Patti's Settlement Ice Cream Parlor. As an Ice Cream Parlor Team Member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving ice cream and other food items, maintaining cleanliness, and handling transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections.
• Serve ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, and other desserts.
• Serve hot food items.
• Operate cash register and handle customer payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including counters, tables, and equipment.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines for food preparation and sanitation.
• Provide a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.

Qualifications:

• Prior customer service or food service experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Friendly attitude and enthusiasm for serving customers.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
