Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and oversee mitigation projects, providing guidance to team members and ensuring efficient execution of tasks.
- Advanced Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of water damage situations, identifying nuanced factors that influence mitigation strategies.
- Specialized Techniques: Apply advanced mitigation techniques, including specialty equipment operation, to address intricate water damage scenarios.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, insurance representatives, and clients to coordinate repairs and restoration efforts.
- Innovative Solutions: Develop creative solutions for complex restoration challenges, considering environmental and structural factors.
- Quality Control: Monitor the mitigation process to maintain optimal drying conditions, prevent microbial growth, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports with detailed documentation of assessment findings, strategies implemented, and progress made. Ability to make take moisture readings and generate drying logs (MICA) or similar by utilizing moisture meters and additional supplemetal tools.
- Client Communication: Interact with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Safety Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations, prioritizing the well-being of all involved parties.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new equipment, and emerging technologies in water damage mitigation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Advanced certifications in water damage restoration, applied structural drying IICRC WRT(minimum) ASD (optional), or related specialties.
- Experience in MICA or a related moisture mapping software.
- Several years of experience in water mitigation, with a proven track record of successful project leadership.
- In-depth understanding of specialized equipment and techniques for complex water damage scenarios.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Thorough knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Physical fitness to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and operating heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and flexibility for on-call duties.
