- Manage, facilitate, and serve as the point person and first responder for every loss, including reconstruction, through completion.
- Contact the customer within 30 minutes (unless emergency) to schedule an appointment.
- Arrive on loss site within 2 hours if an emergency or 24 hours for non-emergencies unless carrier program requirements.
- Prepare scope of work thru Sketch/MICA and communicate to customers.
- Secure applicable contract(s).
- Generate & provide accurate project schedules to customers and assigned subcontractors.
- Coordinate & record all material selections with the customer
- Determine & generate material take-off & coordinate the purchase of materials.
- Coordinate, supervise, document, and assist in the production of Emergency Water Extraction and Drying Services and Emergency Fire/Smoke Services.
- Record and report loss documentation (i.e., contracts, psychometric readings, moisture mapping) to customer, adjuster, and national programs on all losses.
- Record estimate in Xactimate and submit to adjuster/customer within 48 hours or according to carrier Program Requirements.
- Negotiate with adjuster/customers on the scope of work.
- Secure necessary permits
- Approve & Submit subcontractor invoices for payment to A/P Clerk
- Forward job file to administrative dept. once approved.
- Maintain an orderly and clean job site
- Consistently deliver Exceptional Customer Service to all external/internal customers.
- Build & maintain a professional relationship with customers, adjusters, carriers, and 3rd parties.
- Trains & supervise M&C technicians.
- Record daily schedule on the job board arranging temporary help if needed.
- Perform management on-call rotation.
- Perform employee performance reviews.
- Follow and enforce established safety practices including proper use of PPE, when required.
- Additional job duties as assigned
Requirements
- Organizational & multi-tasking skills.
- Knowledge of construction.
- Communicate effectively with all departments, subcontractors, and customers.
- Computer literate.
- Able to speak fluent English/Bilingual a plus
- Find and manage subcontractors.
- Review jobs on a weekly basis with the estimator.
- Bring jobs in on targeted budget 65% or less.
- Achieve customer service scores at a minimum of 9 on average or an NPS of 67.5%.
- Provide the customer with a job schedule unless the project is produced in less than 2 weeks.
- Ability to be on call and work weekends when required
Education:
High school diploma or equivalency
Experience:
1-2 yrs. In construction/restoration industry and management preferred
Licenses and Certifications:
OSHA 10HR recommended
Lead Safe Renovator preferred
Valid Driver’s license
Physical Demands:
Lift (occasionally) 5-100 lbs. May involve significant stand/walk/push/pull Occasional climbing (ladders, etc.), balancing, crouching, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and handling. Ability to work in confined spaces. Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat, heavy soot, mold, and sewage fumes. Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent times.
