Paul Hobbs Winery, a grower and producer of luxury Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay, seeks a dedicated and organized individual to join their accounting teams. The ability to manage multiple, high priority projects while maintaining daily workflow, attention to detail and a great attitude are paramount.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and other general accounting functions.
This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Examples of responsibilities (not limited to those listed below):
1. Ensures accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, including coding and payment terms.
2. Collaborates with cost center managers for proper invoice coding.
3. Reconciles vendor statements and resolve billing discrepancies.
4. Processes employee travel and expense reimbursements.
5. Manages weekly vendor check runs, ACH, and wire transfers.
6. Prepares 1099 forms annually.
7. Maintains schedules of container and barrel payments.
8. Supports fixed asset maintenance and monthly depreciation calculations.
Basic job requirements:
1. Minimum 2 years of previous experience in accounting.
2. ERP system working knowledge, NetSuite experience desired.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
4. Flexibility to work weekends and off hours and willingness to help with any task as needed.
5. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs., or a 9L case of wine.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
