Cash Accounting Leader
Location Oakbrook IL 60521 Hybrid role
Salary base $100K to 110K depending on experience
The Cash Accounting Supervisor oversees the cash accounting function performing general accounting activities and directly managing and providing leadership to team members. This role is a working supervisor role.
Key points :
- 5 plus yrs general accounting (monthend close prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations account analysis support for financial audits).
- Experience working with high cash volumes (Retail Restaurants hospitality) industry making sure strong internal controls and properly reconciled monthly.
- 2 plus yrs of supervisory experience with associates managing monitoring performance KPIs deadlines providing guidance.
- Experience processing high volumes of data working with ensuring strong internal controls and new financial controls policies.
- Engage outsource provider to perform hivolume manual transactional work
- Contact for credit cards Vendors and Operations working with contracts store setups.
- Assist in monthend closing prepare and review journal entries account reconciliations and account analysis and provide support to financial audit requests.
- Provides direction for coordination and completion of audits
- Required : Must have a Degree Accounting or Finance
