Lead Cash Accounting
Location Oakbrook IL 60521 Hybrid role
Salary base $100K to 110K depending on experience
The Cash Accounting Supervisor oversees the cash accounting function performing general accounting activities and directly managing and providing leadership to team members. This role is a working supervisor role.
Key points:
- 5 plus yrs general accounting (month-end close, prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis, support for financial audits).
- Experience working with high cash volumes (Retail, Restaurants, hospitality) industry making sure strong internal controls and properly reconciled monthly.
- 2 plus yrs of supervisory experience with associates managing, monitoring performance, KPI's, deadlines, providing guidance.
- Experience processing high volumes of data, working with ensuring strong internal controls and new financial controls, policies.
- Engage outsource provider to perform hi-volume, manual, transactional work
- Contact for credit cards Vendors and Operations working with contracts, store setups.
- Assist in month-end closing, prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis, and provide support to financial audit requests.
- Provides direction for coordination and completion of audits
- Must have a Degree, Accounting or Finance
