What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Supervisor position at Pavilion Restaurant?

FOH Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities
The FOH Supervisor of Pavilion will be responsible for the leadership and guidance for the whole front of house team including servers, bussers, runners, hosts and bartenders. An experienced supervisor will be efficient at problem solving, handling guests’ relations and ensure smooth and steady flow of service.
Managing the FOH Team
- Organize the work to be done by each of the FOH employees
- Manage scheduling
- Hiring/Training
- Nightly Closeouts and reporting
Managing FOH Operations
- Daily menu printing and updates
- Management of the reservations coming in
- Checking voicemails and returning calls
- Communicate supplies needed to be ordered with chef
- Cleanliness of the Front of House
- Ensure customer has the best dining experience possible
- Provide suggestions to improve operations
Qualities
- People skills - The ability to communicate effectively with guests and employees
- Team work - Know how to manage and work with the team. Also have the patience to resolve any issues that may arise with guests or staff
- Leadership - Possess the skills necessary to supervise and coordinate the FOH team. Know how to make the right decisions and anticipate needs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
