Paws and Claws Veterinary Clinic is seeking an organized, proactive, and compassionate Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small animal clinic. We are led by a Fear Free Elite Certified veterinarian/practice owner and are dedicated to providing high-quality, low-stress veterinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff & HR Management: Oversee staff schedules, hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and enforcement of clinic policies to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Training & Development: Assist in developing and implementing team training modules.
- Chart Auditing: Review medical records for accuracy and completeness, as well as identifying areas of improvement.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and prepare orders for clinic supplies while optimizing cost and efficiency.
- Client & Staff Relations: Address client concerns, foster a positive team culture, and ensure a high level of customer service and client retention.
- Workflow Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in clinic operations to enhance efficiency.
- Social Media & Marketing: Contribute to the clinic’s online presence by managing social media content and engagement.
- Financial Oversight: Prepare time cards for payroll processing and generate financial reports as needed.
- Compliance & Safety Protocols: Ensure OSHA compliance and adherence to other regulatory requirements as they apply to our growing accreditation efforts.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Management Experience: Prior management experience is required, with preference for those in veterinary or medical settings.
- Software Knowledge: Familiarity with ezyVet software is a plus.
- Inventory Expertise: Experience managing inventory in a veterinary or medical environment.
- Social Media Skills: Ability to create and manage engaging content for social platforms.
- Veterinary Industry Experience: Knowledge of veterinary workflows, terminology, and client communication best practices.
- Financial & HR Experience: Experience with payroll preparation, financial reporting, hiring, onboarding, and employee management.
- Strong Leadership & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to lead a team effectively, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive clinic culture.
