We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients. Duties
- Provide bathing and grooming services for dogs and other pets, ensuring they are clean and comfortable.
- Use appropriate bathing techniques and products suited for different breeds and sizes.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for both pets and staff.
- Assist in drying, brushing, and styling pets as needed.
- Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to management.
- Ensure all grooming tools and equipment are properly cleaned and maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet’s grooming needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in animal care or handling is preferred (e.g., kennel work, veterinary assistant, veterinary technician).
- Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with various breeds of dogs and other animals.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners professionally.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift pets as needed.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
- Certification in pet grooming or related fields is a plus but not required.
