SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: The reading tutor is responsible for providing reading tutoring services to students, guiding and assisting with a range of reading activities in accordance with common core ELA standards. EXEMPLARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Tutor students individually or in a scheduled group reading time using evidence-based reading strategies.Assist in developing reading skills.Provides support for all reading levels.Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure all student tutoring needs are met.Performs other duties as assigned.
