About the role :
We are seeking a Payroll Analyst to support payroll operations in Colombia and assist with LATAM countries. In this role, you will manage payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security requirements.
What you will do :
- Processing payroll working closely with vendors and internal customers.
- Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes
- Optimizing payroll execution systems and processes, to facilitate the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
- Supports employee queries relating to payroll as they arise, working with in-country payroll processors to do so.
- Manages relationships with stakeholders such as the payroll vendors, Finance, wider HRBPs, 3rd Party payroll providers and employees.
- Ensures compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security.
- Supports required monthly reconciliations with the Finance team.
- Responds to audit procedures and control reports to ensure the accurate processing of payroll.
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
- Leads Onboarding and off boarding paperwork.
- Keeps track of contracts and work permits expiration.
- Processes data into payroll and administrative databases and software’s. Prepares periodic payroll reports.
- Prepares financial reports for accounting and auditing purposes.
- Tracks medical leaves payments.
- Understands payroll processes for LATAM countries as back up.
What you need to succeed :
You need detail-orientation, analytical and methodical thinking skills. Experience in Payroll administration and strong knowledge of payroll regulations. Great sense of confidentiality.
