Job Overview
PB Heat LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels. The Human Resources Manager will report to the VP Human Resources and will be responsible for various HR initiatives, including overseeing the company's safety program, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, enforcing company policies and practices, benefits, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, and employee training & development.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
- Manages the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.
- Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations and maintains workplace safety standards.
- Leads safety programs and maintains policies and procedures or assigns appropriate person.
- Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
- Provides guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Addresses employee concerns and mediates conflicts to promote a harmonious work environment.
- Collaborates with management to develop training programs that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Administers and explains benefits to employees, support communication between employees and benefit providers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
- A minimum of three years of Human Resources management experience preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
