We looking for an experienced and compassionate Night Nanny / Newborn Care Specialist to provide overnight care for families with newborn. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with newborns, a nurturing demeanor, and a deep understanding of infant sleep patterns, feeding routines, and general care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive overnight care for the newborn, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing techniques.
- Monitor the baby’s sleep and ensure a safe sleep environment.
- Assist with bottle preparation, cleaning, and breastfeeding support if needed.
- Track feeding and sleeping patterns to provide helpful updates to parents.
- Offer guidance and support on newborn care, sleep training, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain a calm, quiet, and nurturing overnight atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Night Nanny, Newborn Care Specialist, Postpartum Doula, or similar role.
- Certification in Newborn Care, Infant CPR, and First Aid (required).
- Strong knowledge of infant sleep training methods and newborn care best practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Non-smoker and up-to-date on vaccinations (TDAP, Flu, COVID-19 preferred).
