Summary of Position:
Under the direct supervision of a licensed attorney, Litigation Assistants provide a broad range of support functions including drafting, revising, and filing court pleadings and discovery, assisting with the resolution of contested matters, and keeping the firms clients fully informed of the status of litigated matters.
Description of Duties:
Working with an associate attorney on litigated matters
Preparing court filings
Scheduling hearing coverage
Ordering records
Maintaining deadlines and calendars
Updating clients on the status of litigated cases
Essential Skills and Experience
1 to 2 years of litigation paralegal or litigation assistant experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Extremely detail oriented.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Basic familiarity with state and federal court rules.
Succeeds in working in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
Proficient with filing documents in both state and federal courts.
Experience working with secured mortgage lenders/servicers preferred.
Physical Demands

Work Schedule and Pay Range: The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The work week is typically Monday through Friday, with business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees are required to be onsite 2-3 days per week following a 90-day training period and upon management approval. To be considered, candidates must live close to our Centennial office and be able to come in when needed to provide coverage in person.
Pay Range:
The typical pay range for this role is between $18-23 per hour. The pay range for this position is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and other relevant criteria. This range is a general guideline and may vary based on the candidates experience and qualifications.
