Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Financial Advisor located in the East Brunswick NJ area. The Advisor role is an integral part of our team serving as the true connection between our clients, and the entire team. This great communicator, influencer and enthusiastic person will support the vision, positive culture and team spirit across our firm and clients.
We are focused 100% on serving and managing our clients collaboratively and exceptionally. Working in a team-based culture, they are also responsible for the development and training of the next generation advisors in the firm. The career track includes opportunities to grow into a Relationship Advisor, Lead Advisor, and Senior Advisor.
They will lead client meetings and be able to navigate clients through the entire financial planning experience and decision-making process. This includes discussing their holistic financial plan, including planning strategies that are appropriate for client situations. They will oversee the complete coordination of the planning process with the client / client advisor(s) and oversight of all front and back-office personnel involved in the planning process.
Client and Advisory Engagement
- Leads, manages, and engages directly with a group of clients to best support their financial, investment, and risk outcomes. Engages directly and is responsible for client retention and relationship with assigned key firm clients.
- Leads strategic development of Tier 2-3 Client’s financial plan, developing recommendations and solutions in the best interest of the client and ensuring those plans are executed.
- Pre / Post meeting prep and follow-up with clients to include agenda creation, plan update / creation, and strategy and opportunity development.
- Communicating with clients by understanding the needs, objectives, goals, concerns and translating these into an actionable and disciplined plan.
- Coordinating with client’s other advisors (attorney, CPA, etc.) and other external sources to carry out the goals of client service.
- They are expected to provide guidance and expert advice to management on technical financial planning and investment planning needs, systems, or process-related topics.
- While most of their time is spent serving existing clients, they also engage in developing COI relationships for the benefit of our clients.
- Trains, supervises, and supports other members of the advisory team with an eye to developing talent for the benefit of our clients and the firm
