Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable Medicaid/Benefits Planner to join our rapidly-growing team. The ideal candidate must be organized and energetic, as well as possess strong clerical skills. The candidate will need to be able to handle their own case load, as well as work with the team to strategize.
Our Company
We are a growing elder law firm in central New Jersey. We handle estate planning, estate administration, and Medicaid.
Duties
- Determine eligibility for Medicaid using financials, income, and gifting analysis
- Handle at minimum 10 cases at a time
- Gather and create all necessary documentation needed for Medicaid application and submit the applications
- Handle all Request for Information sent by the county
- Organize client meetings either in person or virtually
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in New Jersey Medicaid process and application
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
