Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of appropriate program management practices related to the OPTN Modernization Initiative and coordinate interdependencies of projects to reach strategic goals
- Develop plans that outline a management approach, controls, and resources to be employed according to changing work volume and shifting priorities
- Collaborate with HRSA project leadership to define success objectives and document project success components (e.g., objectives, Key Performance Indicators, deliverables, etc.)
- Adapt to emerging needs while sustaining tracking, integration, and oversight of OPTN modernization activities, including supporting governance bodies, and working groups/committees

Specific tasks include:
- Support HRSA Leadership and appropriate stakeholders to understand and prioritize needs, define success objectives across a concise timeline, and support advancement towards achieving goals
- Identify potential governance structure(s) and accountability measures
- Understand scope of each initiative for appropriate tracking, employing standard tools for realistic and valid assessment of progress across initiatives
- Proactive identification of risks, mitigation strategies, and dependencies
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university.
- At least eleven years of experience.
- Experience with large scale transformation, preferably in the healthcare field.
- Must be able to run project update meetings with a variety of audiences.
- Must have excellent client relationship management skills and operate in complex environments.
- Must be able to manage multiple responsibilities and possess agility to respond to ad hoc requests.
- Must possess leadership qualities and skills that motivate project team members to drive the project to a successful conclusion.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft tools including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and MS365.
- May be required to undergo a standard background check along with verification of education requirements

Salary : $180,000 - $185,000
