Job Summary:
The QA Auditor is responsible for performing quality checks on all work produced in the Print Room, including output from the I300, Titan, MCS, and Pulse equipment. This role ensures that all printed materials meet quality standards and comply with customer and internal specifications. Additionally, the QA Auditor supports quality assurance processes by reviewing documentation, identifying defects, and maintaining compliance with operational procedures.
In addition, as an MCS Print Operator they are responsible for ensuring that all processed jobs are printed in a manner that meets the Quality Control standards while also meeting volume/efficiency expectations.
Some General Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality audits on printed materials, ensuring all output from the I300, Titan, Pulse, MCS and other cutsheet equipment meets standards.
- Verify print accuracy, including tagline matching, sequence number integrity, and proper alignment.
- Inspect materials for defects, such as smudges, tears, rips, or text-obscuring issues.
- Ensure all operator checks and QA documentation are complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with operators and management to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of audit findings and escalate significant quality concerns to the Quality Assurance team or Print Manager.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements at all times.
- Print all letter jobs as they are spooled to the MCS printer. This includes re-prints, samples, and test jobs for programming
- Record/enter data according to company SOP at the beginning and end of print jobs (spool files)
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in print production or quality assurance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
