SUMMARY
Reporting to the Director of Lab Validation Programs, the Senior Manager, Lab Quality Programs will be responsible for enhancing the PCI SSC Recognized Laboratory (Lab) program strategy, including lab submission processes, audits, automation capabilities, training, reporting and business intelligence initiatives.
This role will contribute to the development of security testing requirements for PCI SSC solution and device standards and involves proactive awareness of changes in payment security environments, including new threats and advancements in technologies.
This is a 100% remote role that is highly collaborative. You will be frequently engaged with Council staff and will contribute to various meetings throughout the week, primarily during US business hours.
What you will be doing in this role :
- Enhance the PCI SSC review team functions, including the review and assessment of PCI Recognized Lab reports for PTS POI, HSM, and Mobile (SPoC, CPoC, MPoC) standards, to ensure consistent and appropriate application of security testing criteria.
- Manage and actively maintain relationships with PCI Recognized Labs to provide, receive and process guidance on technical security issues and evaluation methodologies.
- Lead and conduct comprehensive lab audit programs integrating knowledge testing into the audit processes
- Draft technical and operational documentation, including technical FAQs, lab evaluation requirements and program guides, and contribute to the development of new and emerging standards, guidance documents and information supplements.
- Develop and implement an evaluator training program based upon a modular approach on PCI SSC standards, such as PTS POI, PTS HSM, MPoC, SPoC, and CPoC.
- Streamline the onboarding of new labs for PCI SSC validation programs focused on lab skills and processes
- Streamline the lab management review process through automation and data insights; enable continuous improvement in all lab validation programs
- Enhance reporting templates and dashboards aligned to enhanced standard releases
- Draft technical and operational documentation, including technical FAQs, lab evaluation requirements and program guides, and contribute to the development of new and emerging standards, guidance documents and information supplements.
- Contribute content to the support Council communications and initiatives, including webinars, newsletter articles, blogs, and information supplements.
- Facilitate applicable working groups and task forces on various subjects.
- Participate and represent the Council in various forums, including working groups, task forces, industry meetings and events, and webinars.
- Keep informed of and maintain proficiency with information security best practices, as well as current cryptographic practices and techniques.

The starting minimum salary for this role is $135,000 USD annually, plus bonus. The final compensation will be based on skills, experience, geographic location, and other relevant factors.
