We're also looking at what's next for you and how we can help you build a career you're proud of. We are seeking a Structural Engineer with experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and metal decking / roofing to work on an active water treatment plant in Gilbert, AZ.
Here's how a Structural Field Engineer for our Civil Infrastructure office contributes to our team :
Responsibilities
- Mentors and leads inspections and orientations, identifies hazards and corrections, and leads by example for health and safety practices and procedures.
- Coordinates with superintendent on workforce planning.
- Maintains project document control and procedures. Supports project engineers and / or superintendents to lead trade contractors, including requests for information (RFIs), shop drawings, changes, and billings.
- Participates in the supervision of self-perform scopes, including resolving crew sizes, labor tracking, and quantity tracking for Labor Cost Reports (LCRs).
- Mentors and coaches field engineers and students / interns).
- Identifies issues on-site or in defined work scopes.
- Coordinates third-party inspections and site reviews.
- Participates in crafting, implementing, and supervising quality plan, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Develop and maintains positive relationships focusing on all partners.
