The Position
Spoke Custom is a leading provider of innovative solutions in the Print on Demand industry. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Sr. Sales Development Representative (Sr. SDR) to join our dynamic team. This is a remote position that offers a unique opportunity for a senior-career professional with prior Sr. SDR experience (5 years) to contribute to our growth by identifying and qualifying leads for our Business Development team for printed product (merchandise) services in key industries.
As a Sr. Sales Development Representative at Spoke Custom, you will play a crucial role in our sales and business development efforts. Primary responsibility will be to engage with potential customers, identify their needs, and qualify leads for our Business Development team. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in sales and gain valuable experience in a remote work environment. The Sr. SDR acts as the frontline representative of the company, combining sales expertise, strategic thinking, and communication skills to build and nurture relationships that lead to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation and Prospecting
- Research: Identify and research potential customers using tools like LinkedIn, CRM databases, and other resources.
- Outreach: Conduct outbound prospecting via email, phone calls, and social media to generate interest in the company’s products or services.
- Qualification: Use discovery techniques to understand the needs and pain points of prospects, ensuring they are a good fit.
- Pipeline Management
- Tracking: Maintain accurate records of interactions and activities in the CRM system.
- Nurturing: Follow up with leads that are not yet sales-ready, providing relevant information to keep the company top of mind.
- Handoff: Ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads to the sales team by providing detailed handoff notes.
- Strategy Development
- Targeting: Develop and refine targeting strategies based on market feedback and customer insights.
- Messaging: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to craft compelling messaging for outreach efforts.
- A/B Testing: Experiment with different approaches and tools to optimize engagement rates.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align efforts and share market intelligence.
- Feedback Loop: Provide insights from prospects to help refine the company’s offerings and positioning.
- Metrics and Reporting
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) like call volume, email response rates, and lead conversion rates.
- Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed activity quotas, such as calls made, emails sent, and meetings booked.
- Reporting: Deliver regular updates on progress and challenges to management.
- Mentorship and Leadership
- Guidance: Support and mentor junior SDRs, sharing best practices and strategies.
