About the role:

PDQ Workholding is seeking a Finance Director who is eager to support our growth ambitions and would like to play a key role within our global Finance team. The Finance Director will engage in such areas as forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, data consolidation, and reviewing operational performance. Your responsibilities include the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring they are accurate and timely. You will ensure our organization complies with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards, and work to continuously improve financial processes and systems including developing ways of working and using new technologies. You will develop people to ensure there is a strong team collaboration where talents can grow.

This role will be based at our site in Columbia City, Indiana with the opportunity for the role to be hybrid. Since we are a global company, a small amount of travel may be required, as well as efficient digital collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and communicate financial analysis and reporting with relevant stakeholders to increase awareness and influence actions (monthly, quarterly, yearly, ad-hoc)
  • Advise operational leaders regarding the impact of decisions on overall financials.
  • Responsible to manage and develop appropriate internal controls, controls system and financial policies with focus on continuous improvements.
  • Develop the ways of working in the general accounting area while driving improvements in monthly reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Responsible for monthly performance review process, risk management, and follow up selected key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements.
  • Prepare records, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
  • Lead and develop the Finance team, providing professional development and guidance to the team members.
  • Ensure appropriate cash flow to satisfy business demands by managing the company's reporting, cash flow projections, and balance sheet items while driving Net Working Capital efficiency.
  • Ensure Treasury activities are performed in accordance with Sandvik requirements.
  • Ensure that the closing process is adequate to report both timely and with high precision.
  • Timely and accurate reporting of actual, forecast and target results in OneStream
  • Ensure all tax obligations are calculated correctly and reported on time.
  • Compile and calculate group tax computations including tax reporting preparation.
  • Support ad-hoc Finance/Accounting related projects/initiatives.

Your background and profile:

We’re looking for someone with a background from a similar role in finance.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 5 year’s accounting experience in a similar position. Qualified Chartered Accountant (CPA preferred).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with mastery of financial analysis and cost calculation.
  • Leadership and people development skills.
  • Proficient in use of Windows/Microsoft Office 365 and other Microsoft applications.
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Made2Manage and/or SAP preferred).
  • Meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful, reliable with excellent customer service attitude.
  • You have a passion for digitalization and use of new technologies and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
