Peak is excited to be hosting an exclusive, luxury pop up event in the heart of Aspen, Colorado this 2025 season! This event will be offering a unique luxury experience that blends cocktails, music and fashion -- designed to create memorable experiences for the most discerning of sophisticated clientele.
We are seeking an experienced COCKTAIL SERVER to join our team for the full run of this exciting, limited engagement event from 2/13-3/2.
Position Overview
As a Cocktail Server, you will deliver an exceptional guest experience by providing personalized, attentive service in a luxury setting. Your role will involve showcasing an in-depth knowledge of the cocktail and wine menus, anticipating guest needs, and creating memorable moments. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, fine beverages, and a flair for engaging service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Engagement: Welcome guests warmly, guide them through the menu, and provide tailored recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Order Management: Accurately take and relay orders to the bar team, ensuring timely delivery of beverages to guests.
- Menu Knowledge: Demonstrate expertise in wine, spirits, and cocktails, including the ability to describe flavor profiles and suggest pairings.
- Upselling: Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through upgrades, additional items, or special offerings.
- Service Excellence: Maintain an attentive and polished presence, ensuring guests' needs are met proactively throughout their visit.
- Ambiance Contribution: Support the overall luxurious atmosphere of the venue by maintaining clean, organized service areas and adhering to high presentation standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with bartenders, barbacks, and hosts to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive guest experience.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in an upscale or luxury environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails, with a willingness to learn and expand expertise.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service
- Physical stamina to handle long shifts and the ability to carry trays with multiple beverages.
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be 21 years of age or older to be considered for this position
- Must have a valid Colorado certification in Alcohol Safety and Responsible Service (TIPS is NOT accepted, ABT is Recommended)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Limited engagement Event from 2/13-3/2. We are looking for candidates who are able to commit to the entirety of the event duration
Essential Physical Requirements
- Continuous reaching, bending, lifting and carrying; must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
- May be required to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
