This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are: 3 to 4 Weekday nights from 2:00 pm-10:00 pm, as well as Saturdays and Sundays 10:00 am-6:00 pm.
Essential Functions

- Act as the primary point of contact for member inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Foster a positive and collaborative environment for club members and employees.
- Display a consistently positive attitude towards members, staff, job tasks and mission statement.
- Resolve escalated customer issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of customer service representatives.
- Provide ongoing coaching and development to enhance the team's performance.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep members. informed of club activities, promotions, and updates.
- Regularly evaluate customer service processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Keep the team informed about new club offerings, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that the club adheres to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to customer service and health and safety.
- Assist team with checking in guests and members, operating cash register, using computers, answering phones and cleaning.
- Assist management team with scheduling and payroll as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of club programs, services, and events.
- Attend monthly manager meetings as scheduled.
Competencies
- Customer service management experience, preferably in a fitness or health club setting.
- Observant and detail orientated while staying attentive to current surroundings
- Self-motivated and able to work with little to no supervision
- Possessing strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Ability to listen empathetically, with strong conflict resolution skills
- Supervisory Responsibility
This position helps manage all Service Desk Attendants and is responsible for leadership, communication, performance management, and worksite safety.
Work Environment
This job operates in a health club environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, smart phones.

- Continual standing and walking during shift

- Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals, with proper PPE provided
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. 5 Days split across Weekdays and Weekends.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Current certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid are required within 30 days of hire.
