What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President Technical - Americas - Aircraft Leasing position at Peak Performance Recruitment?
This established Aircraft Leasing Platform is adding a VP Technical Project Management in Florida. Although technical, this position will be commercially focused, with deep knowledge of LOI, Lease and OEM agreements.
The role will be the technical ambassador for deal teams within the organisation assisting in the negotiation and closing of aircraft lease and trading transactions with customers.
Duties
- Draft and negotiate technical aspects of LOI and aircraft lease, purchases and sales of aircraft.
- Highlight and advise any potential risks to the company and suggest risk mitigation solutions where possible.
- Preparation, in consultation with Sales, Legal, Technical and Finance (deal team) of the Transaction Approval Paper.
- Prepare checklists and reviews of legal and commercial documents from a technical perspective associated to various phases of aircraft transactions.
- Ensure the technical economic and risk integrity of transaction remains from LOI to closing.
- Deliver transaction closing on a timely basis, ensuring key decisions are made as required.
- Coordinate and manage all prepurchase due diligence.
- Liaise between airlines and technical on aircraft spec’s, modifications etc.
- Coordinate and support regional deal teams.
- Coordinate and manage all prepurchase due diligence.
- Evaluation of aircraft and 3rd party lease agreements.
Essential:
- Prior experience negotiating aircraft lease agreements from technical perspective.
- Minimum 7 years within aircraft leasing in a technical position.
- Eligible to work in USA
- Ability to travel to customers
- Strong customer facing and presentation skills.
